Home for the Holidays

Hi Sweet Friends,

I am excited that not only did we get to host Thanksgiving in our new home with my family, but we got the joy of hosting Christmas with my husband’s side of the family too!  Having his family all together was indeed exciting, because in the almost 10 years that we have been together, we have NEVER done a family Christmas like this.  Opening the gifts with all of our littles and seeing them roam through the house, full of joy spending time together, was priceless. And even through all the hustle and bustle, it was  really exciting to just have some time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.  Pop sat all of the children down and read them the Christmas story, and that really just touched my heart.

Christmas is a beautiful season of hope.  It is the most profound reminder of the greatest gift we could ever receive.  The love of an amazing Father gifted to us through His son, Jesus.  Jesus lives and breathes life into His believers, and I am honored to serve a mighty King who entered the world as a baby, and would later take my place on that rugged cross.  Jesus, you are my Savior and I am grateful for the gift of YOU not only at Christmas but every day.

Here's a little peek into our holiday styling this year.

Just one little tree and an old wooden tree house was all the guest bathroom needed this year.
