There is all sorts of truth to how different a second pregnancy is. With our first, we had the nursery completely finished months in advance and all the time in the world to master unfinished projects. We took weekly pregnancy pics and wrote sweet notes for our firstborn. This time, life is incredibly different. Chasing a toddler and keeping up with the challenges of everyday, we are barely surviving. But I think we are managing the chaos just fine.

Baby two is due in two weeks and we just finished the nursery. But the good thing is... it's COMPLETE. And I can honestly say we are ready for our little guy to grace us with his presence. Though I still feel guilty that I haven't taken those cute weekly bump pics or journaled like I did with our big boy, at least this cutie will have a fun room to come home to.

I have to admit, this nursery project was fun. I changed the vision a few times and wanted to add a little modern mix, but nothing abnormally different than the rest of our house... and I really love the vibe! I think it is quirky, but tasteful and I'm excited to put this space to good use.
